📝 Overview

Attendance Summary - Form ES3000 is the Report Center report that lists attendance for a chosen date range across every client with attendance in that period. Each line shows the attendance date, payment type, pickup and drop-off times, and units. Each page header carries the period's total units, full days (2 units), half days (1 unit), and losses (0 units).

ElderSuite serves adult day care centers nationwide.

Open Report Center from the ElderSuite main menu, select the Client Reports tab, and choose Attendance Summary - Form ES3000. The Report Description reads "Attendance Summary report for clients including attendance date, payment type, attendance times, and unit totals for a user-specified date range."

Use Form ES3000 when you need attendance across a span of dates for all clients together—a billing period, a month, or a single day. For a monthly calendar layout for selected clients, use Attendance Calendar - Form ES3100. For choosing among Client Reports attendance prints, see How to Print Attendance and Absence Reports in ElderSuite. Times on this report come from Attendance & Transportation Records.

âš™ How It Works

1. Open Form ES3000 From Report Center

Open Report Center and select Client Reports. In the Report List, highlight Attendance Summary - Form ES3000.

Click View Report, or double-click the report name. The options dialog opens over the Report Center with Start Date and End Date already set to today's date.

This report opens only from Report Center → Client Reports.

2. Set the Start Date and End Date

Enter the first day of the period in Start Date and the last day in End Date. Those two dates are the only filter—there is no client picker on this dialog.

For a single day, leave both fields on the same date (they already open on today). For a longer period, change either or both before continuing.

Confirm End Date is not earlier than Start Date. ElderSuite does not block a reversed range; Preview then returns the same empty-result message as a range with no attendance.

3. Preview and Print From Report Viewer

Click Preview. ElderSuite loads every attendance record dated between the two dates, works out the unit totals for the whole range, builds as many ES3000 pages as needed, joins them into one document, and opens it in Report Viewer inside the main ElderSuite window. The options dialog then closes.

Print or save from the viewer before you close it. Click Cancel to return to the Report Center without producing a report. This window only reads attendance; it does not add, change, or delete attendance records.

4. Read What the Summary Shows

Each page header carries the provider name, the report date or date range, the period's total units, total full days, total half days, and total losses, plus the page number and page total.

Below the header, each attendance line shows the client, attendance date, payment type, pickup and drop-off times, and that record's units. A client's name prints on the first of consecutive lines for that client; blank name boxes underneath still belong to the same client. A payment type or time that the record does not hold prints blank.

Up to 43 attendance lines fit on a page. ElderSuite works out the page count automatically.

Full days, half days, and losses are counted from the units on each loaded record: 2 units is a full day, 1 unit a half day, and 0 units a loss. Those counts and the unit total cover the whole date range.

âś… Important Limitations

There is no client picker. The report includes every client who has attendance in the chosen date range.

The four totals in the page header cover the entire date range and are repeated unchanged on every page. They are not per-page subtotals—read the period total from any single page; do not add them across pages.

This report does not give a per-client unit total. For one client's units in a month, use Attendance Calendar - Form ES3100 and read Total Units on that client's page.

If no attendance records fall between the dates you entered, ElderSuite shows No Records Found ("There were no records found for the selected date. Please try a different date."), leaves the dialog open, and returns the cursor to Start Date so you can try another range.

This window changes no attendance record. It is not the monthly calendar (Form ES3100) and not a list of clients with no attendance.

If the ES3000 template is missing on that computer, ElderSuite shows Missing Files ("The report you are trying to print is missing. Please re-install ElderSuite.").

âš  Read the Period Totals Once

The header totals—total units, full days, half days, and losses—are calculated once for the whole date range and printed the same on every page.

Use any page for the period figures. Adding those four totals from page to page overstates the range. A page's own lines will not match the header unit total unless the report fits on a single page.
